The material of the Earth version looks like soil with tiny plant roots and moss, so it appears like the plants grow from the stylized soil attached to the wall. We are experimenting with new versions in which the wool has been dyed with colour extracted form wasteland weeds and vegetable cuttings from a vegetarian restaurant. It takes some trial and error to find out what colour you will get with a certain plant or vegetable. We really like the green and pink shades of colour.
The main component of the design is wool from sheep that have not been bred for the meat industry, but for dairy or nature management. The fabric is reused redundant fabric from different sources.
